Q: I'm currently using 4.0.x or later version of X-Cart, will your 3.5.x X-cart products work?
A: No, only products listed with an "X-Cart version 3.5.x,4.0.x" or "X-Cart version 4.0.x" are compatible.
Q: My order has already been processed, and a download link was sent, can I still return the product for a refund?
A: No, only purchases that have not been processed can be refunded, all sales are final. Please see our terms and agreement for details.
Q: Why no returns/refunds after an order has been processed?
A: When dealing with Electronic Goods, there is no way to guarantee that the delivered package is deleted and not used, if a return/refund is issued.
Q: How can I tell my X-Cart version?
A: Simply view the file named "VERSION" in any text editor or if you have already uploaded X-cart to your server, simply goto http://www.example.com/xcart/VERSION to see your X-cart version.
Q: I'm currently running a highly customized version of X-Cart, are your templates compatible out-of-box?
A: No, Since it is impossible to anticipate every customization only standard out-of-box X-Cart's are fully compatible. Templates can also be customized to accomediate any customizations made previously, but require custom services.
Q: Can I use any of the products on multiple domains?
A: All products are on a per-domain license or per X-cart license. If you wish to purchase multiple licenses in bulk please contact us. Currently only Add-ons are the only domain locked down products. We put trust and good faith in others for all other products. Software piracy is illegal, any users found without a valid customer/order profile will be prosecuted by law.
Q: Can I use a domain locked product on a test server such as an IP address or different domain?
A: No, you will need to purchase a second license if you are in need of a product that is domain locked.
Q: I placed an order but was unable to receive my file?
A: Please allow up to 24-48 hours depending on the day, before download links will be sent via email of the profile used to place the order. This is due to payment validations and other fraud prevention measures. Please contact us if it has been past 48 hours, we will double check the order status and get a valid link to you.
Q: Why can I only pay with Paypal when I have select products added to cart?
A: Since Paypal has better fraud measures in place than most CreditCards for online purchases. Some modules have been selected to only allow paypal for payment. Here are some steps you can take to pay with a Credit Card with Paypal! If you currently have a PayPal account but would like to pay via Credit Card, After clicking "SUBMIT", Press "If you do not currently have a PayPal account", After which you'll be asked for shipping info, simply choose "Shipping is not required." and continue, Now you will be able to use your Credit Card to make the purchase via PayPal. If you currently do not have a PayPal account you will be presented to pay via Credit Card or Create a new PayPal account.
Q: I'm a newbie, How hard are some of the mods here to install?
A: Majority of the mods you find here need "some" basic html knowledge or even a bit of php/mysql. However we do offer an installation service for faster turn a rounds. Some install scripts exist but some also contain step by step readme files.
Q: What type of support are offered with your products?
A: 3 Months of Support is included in all products (not modifications/customization costs). This includes any bug fixes and future updates to any products already purchased, per domain. Additional Support time can be bought at the time of purchasing the license.
Q: Where are the LiteCommerce products?
A: Currently we are developing and converting our existing X-Cart based products to LiteCommerce, as soon as they are available you can be notified via our Mailing list.
Q: Can your scripts/software be modified?
A: Our X-cart modifications can be modified by yourself, our X-cart Add on's are not modifiable (see terms and conditions) we can however tailor and customise our modules for custom specifications if need be, please contact us with your requirements.
